F-4092 Poplar Fluted Box Newel posts have a pedestal size of 7-1/2" inches and an overall length of 55 inches. Pedestal wall is 3/4 inch with the main shank of 6 inch. The F-4092 box newel can be used as a starting, intermediate or landing newel post. It's primary function is a starting newel because of its size. Half-Sawn newels are available.
